How many cars do ktc sell yearly , it a all down to numbers
How many faults have occurred for reasons beyond there control
How have they rectified and satisfied the customer when problems have occurred
If every car buyer posted every time they had issues with a new purchase I don't think ktc would be at the top of the list
I would hate to sell cars for a living , some folks expect to pay **** all for a nearly new car and recieve a lifetime warranty ,
And heaven forbid something goes wrong a year after purchase , because if it's not sorted they'll be all over the net saying how sh$t you are
Oh and if you purchase , let's say a dog , from a dealer , is it there fault for selling it , or yours for buying it
Like it's been said , get a specialist to check it over , do your homework on the type /model of vehicle your looking to buy
There's plenty of checks and precautions you can do , way before handing over your cash

lucky escape
I had a lucky escape with them few years back (before I knew about them) - organised to view a car (2.5 hawkeye)- drove 1.5 hrs there and then the ar** said oh ive just sold it - was bloody furious, but now I think it was just as well. I have heard lots of bad things about them from other people I know who have bought off them - wouldn't touch them! yes everyone has bad experiences with every garage but it is the frequency with which I have heard of KTC and bad reports that concerns me

ah yes but when it comes down to service books getting forged etc then its a different matter and getting mates to do dodgy MOT's so no advisories etc. that's rogue trading. there is always a gamble buying second hand but it comes down to whether they lie and falsify things etc then its not acceptable and not always easy to check. Its not fair to just suggest buyer beware or blame the customer because they didn't check enough to see whether a car was dodgy - you are also buying in good faith and spending £1000's in the process

It's one thing saying the cars someone sells might not be the quality you expect
But IMHO this is going too far and if I were ktc and reading this I wouldn't be happy to say the least

The thing with ktc,yes they have sold thousand of cars but surely can not check every car over as a prospective buyer would, any main stream car dealer will want cars goin out as fast as they come in, never dealt with them so can't comment on there business or customer service.

Agreed, but multiple gripes over multiple communities is a pattern worth noting.
There's more good cars than willing buyers at the moment, so dealers need to be good as gold to keep people coming through their doors. If they can afford to 'upset' so many people, then good for them - but I'd certainly avoid them for any future purchases based on internet hearsay alone, because there are plenty of reputable alternatives.
I'm sure plenty of good cars are sold at KTC, but every sale should be a good one - and plenty of dealers will go to lengths to make this happen.

And Zak I'm suprised at you , being in business yourself I don't think you would be too impressed folk making accusations that are unfounded

No accusations here tony
Only saying I can't comment on Ktc as never had dealings with them, all Im saying is alot of people say their cars are no good as they have a real good look in and around them and maybe Ktc take part ex's in without looking to deep and checking the cars and may get a bad car here and there.

However, it's the right of the consumer to rant if they're not happy.

Tell you what I have noticed
& this is kind of embarrassing (
On a google search - page 1 is thr site
& after is all SNET complaints
So taking it from the top
They sell many cars
From high end exotica - to demolition derby
Were are the complaints from the other marque ?
It's a simple question ?
They have 4 subaru at present , RB 320 been thr top
Many , many other manufacturer cars avail .....
Please people ,, I don't know or have anything to do with this company , but just think about that page 1
& what it means
If I was that garage ( I wouldn't take another subaru in ever again )
Ov course this is just my opinion / it stands / & means nowt
Move on to the next chapter !!!!

"there is no point for me to go on inspecting this"
The day after I brought the car back to Keighley Trade Centre, where I politely asked them to "repair the car" and put me in condition to get safely from point A to point B. At this point a young man, probably with an Asian background, started to shout at me things like: "Go away!" , "You must find the problem by yourself" , "It's not my problem" , "Go and tell your solicitor to write me a letter"."
Pug owner I think.
